QRKY.ai is developing interactive QR technology that integrates scannable designs into out-of-home ads, packaging, print, and retail media. The company reports that its campaigns have achieved significantly higher scan rates, helping brands bridge physical advertising with measurable digital engagement.
How QRKY.ai Works
Instead of placing a standard QR code beside an advertisement, QRKY.ai embeds the code directly into images, graphics, and other creative assets. Consumers can scan the visual itself to access digital content, product information, offers, or other online experiences.
According to founder Anand Basu, “The advertising industry has become very good at buying attention, but the harder question is what happens immediately after that attention is captured.” He emphasizes that QR codes should not be separate functional buttons but part of the ad creative. “We believe the physical creative itself can become the bridge to interaction. QR should not have to sit outside the idea as a functional button; it can be the ad itself.”
Measurable Results
QRKY.ai has worked with brands including Titan (Mia and beYon), Bangalore International Airport, Jaguar, and the World Wildlife Fund. Across deployments over the past year, its QR designs recorded scan rates between three and 3.6 times higher than conventional QR codes. On advertising hoardings, scans increased fourfold.
The company attributes these results to graphical QR designs that are part of the creative. However, scan figures come from QRKY.ai’s own campaign data and may vary by location, format, audience, and placement. QRKY.ai also provides scan data and engagement analytics to help businesses measure interactions with physical media.
Expanding Use Cases
The platform supports multiple physical marketing formats:
- Product packaging: Connect consumers to setup videos, manuals, warranty registration, or product authentication.
- Print advertising: Link posters, brochures, and flyers to offers, menus, registration pages, and other digital content.
- Retail and out-of-home: Enable visual QR experiences for store displays and billboards.
- Payments: Explore branded UPI QR codes that combine payment functionality with brand visuals.
QRKY.ai launched in 2025 and serves sectors including FMCG and fashion. Incorporated in Maryland, United States, the company says its technology is patent-protected. Its mission is to link physical brand media with digital actions through interactive QR technology.
