The Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) at MIT is a pioneering initiative dedicated to transforming education worldwide. Through research, innovation, and collaboration, J-WEL empowers educators, learners, and institutions to reimagine teaching and learning for the 21st century.
Recent highlights from J-WEL include the “Biomedical Lab in a Box” program, which equips engineers in low- and middle-income countries with hands-on experience in medical hardware engineering.
