    Apple’s next-generation A20 Pro chip could be one of the biggest upgrades coming to the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, according to a new report. While Apple has not confirmed any details, early leaks suggest the chipset will introduce two major architectural changes aimed at improving performance, battery life, and on-device AI capabilities.

    2nm Process Could Improve Speed and Efficiency

    The A20 Pro is expected to be built using TSMC’s 2nm manufacturing process. If the report is accurate, it will be the first iPhone chip to move beyond the 3nm process used in Apple’s current-generation processors. A smaller fabrication process allows more transistors to fit within the same chip area, which typically translates into better performance while consuming less power.
