Minecraft Dungeons II Launches September 2026: India Pricing, New Sift Dimension, and Full Platform List

Mojang Studios has officially announced that Minecraft Dungeons II, the sequel to the popular dungeon-crawling action-adventure game, will launch globally on September 29, 2026. The new title introduces a fresh storyline, unexplored locations, expanded combat mechanics, and enhanced multiplayer features across multiple platforms.

    Release Date and Platforms

Minecraft Dungeons II will be available on Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Microsoft has confirmed that the game will join Xbox Game Pass on day one. Players can enjoy both single-player and local/online co-op for up to four players.

    India Pricing and Editions

In India, the Standard Edition is priced at Rs. 2,399 on the Xbox Store, while the Deluxe Edition costs Rs. 3,999 and includes additional digital content. Pre-orders are now open, with eligible buyers receiving two hero skins, a Twisted cape, and a Twisted chicken pet. Pricing and availability may vary by platform and retailer.

    New Sift Dimension

One of the biggest additions is the Sift, an entirely new dimension that introduces unfamiliar environments, enemies, and gameplay mechanics. Mojang describes it as a colorful world with biomes like Meadows and Carapace. Players will encounter new creatures, hazardous blocks, and changing environmental conditions that affect exploration and combat. The Sift will debut in Minecraft Dungeons II before arriving in Minecraft Java and Bedrock editions in 2027.

    Gameplay and Multiplayer

The sequel builds on the original 2020 release, retaining the block-based visual style while expanding combat options. Players can team up with friends for online or local co-op, supporting up to four players. The game is designed for both solo and group play, with a new threat spanning two worlds.

Xbox Live Outage Sparks Widespread 0x87e107df Error, Disrupting Digital Game Access

Thousands of Xbox users across multiple regions experienced service disruptions on Monday when Xbox Live went down, triggering the error code 0x87e107df. The issue prevented players from launching digital games, accessing Xbox Game Pass titles, and making purchases, despite being connected to Xbox Live. Some users also reported problems altering their Home Xbox settings.

The outage stems from server-side problems at Microsoft. The error occurs when the system cannot verify a player’s digital game license, blocking access to installed digital content. Microsoft acknowledged the issue in a blog post, recommending users check the Xbox status page and restart their consoles as initial troubleshooting steps.

Unfortunately, most players cannot resolve the error on their own. Since the root cause lies with Xbox servers, restarting consoles or adjusting internet settings may not provide a permanent fix. The best course of action is to wait for Microsoft to restore server functionality, after which license verification should proceed normally, allowing digital games to launch again.

Players concerned about saved data can rest assured: game progress is typically stored locally or in the cloud linked to their Xbox account. Achievements that fail to sync during the outage should update once servers are back online. While online matches disrupted by the error may lose progress, single-player saves and cloud backups are expected to remain intact.

As the situation develops, users are advised to avoid unnecessary console settings changes and rely on official updates from Microsoft.

Xbox Game Pass Loses 7 Titles on July 31 – Final Chance to Play These Games

Microsoft has confirmed that seven games will leave Xbox Game Pass on July 31, giving subscribers a limited window to finish them or purchase them at a discount before they’re removed from the service.

The departing titles are Crusader Kings 3, My Friendly Neighborhood, Back to the Dawn, Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, Rain World, Celeste, and Sniper Elite: Resistance. Among these, Crusader Kings 3 and Celeste hold impressive OpenCritic scores of 90 and 92, making them especially notable for gamers looking to grab a bargain before they vanish.

As always, Game Pass members can purchase any of these games at a discounted price before they leave the library. This is the last opportunity to add them to your permanent collection without paying full retail.

New Games Are on the Way

Games rotate out of Xbox Game Pass every month, but fresh titles are constantly being added. Microsoft has not yet revealed the full lineup for the coming weeks, but two new arrivals have been confirmed: Shift at Midnight, a cooperative detective horror game, arrives on July 22, followed by Halo: Campaign Evolved on July 28. More announcements are expected shortly.

    Strategy Alternatives for Fans

If you’re sad to see Crusader Kings 3 go, don’t worry — Game Pass still offers several strong strategy titles. Age of Empires IV lets you manage armies and build empires, while Age of Mythology: Retold adds mythological creatures and divine powers. If Civilization VI is available in your region, it’s another excellent choice for fans of deep, turn-based strategy.

Xbox Game Pass July 2026 Lineup Revealed: Palworld and More Coming Soon

Microsoft has announced the next wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for July 2026, bringing a mix of day-one releases and popular games to console, PC, and cloud platforms. The lineup arrives during a traditionally quieter period for major game launches, giving subscribers fresh content to explore.

One of the standout additions is Palworld, which joins the service on July 6. Since its beta launch in 2024, the Pokémon-style survival game has attracted millions of players worldwide. Now, Game Pass subscribers can jump in at no extra cost.

Other titles coming in July include Winds of Arcana: Ruination, Ascend To Zero, Denshattack!, Fogpiercer Planet Crafter, Tears of Metal, Halo: Campaign Evolved, Mistfall Hunter, Shift at Midnight, Speedrunners 2: King of Speed, and Wuthering Waves. The selection spans action, survival, racing, horror, role-playing, and simulation genres, ensuring something for nearly every type of gamer.

This month’s additions may not carry the weight of a major first-party Xbox release, but they help maintain momentum for the subscription service. A steady stream of new games gives players a reason to return each month and provides smaller studios with a larger audience. For Microsoft, Game Pass continues to evolve beyond a handful of headline titles, relying on a diverse monthly lineup to keep interest alive until the next wave of big Xbox exclusives arrives.
