XRP Holds Near $1.14 as XRPL v3.2.0 Bugs Raise Network Upgrade Concerns

XRP traded near $1.14 on July 27, 2026, as the token tested key resistance levels while XRPL developers reviewed multiple problems affecting xrpld v3.2.0. The cryptocurrency remained above its 200-day moving average near $1.09, but ETF inflows slowed to approximately $12.4 million in July.

The XRP Ledger community is preparing work linked to the fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment scheduled for July 29. Developers continue examining performance, synchronization, ledger acquisition, and validator-key reports associated with the latest version.

XRP Holds Above Main Daily Support

The $1.09 moving average remains the critical bull-bear line on the daily chart. A break below that level could expose secondary support near $1.05. On the upside, resistance lies between $1.15 and $1.21. A daily close above $1.15 would confirm the reported cup-and-handle breakout and open targets at $1.18 and $1.21.

Until that breakout materializes, XRP may trade between $1.10 and $1.15. The market continues to focus on daily closes rather than brief intraday movements. ETF activity adds another dimension: July inflows fell to about $12.4 million, while retail search interest also declined.

However, outflows remained limited. Bitwise and Franklin Templeton recorded modest net inflows, suggesting long-term institutional holdings remain largely intact. Institutional desks mostly stayed on the sidelines, awaiting easier economic conditions and clearer stablecoin and payment regulations before making larger capital allocations.

The key question is whether XRP can break above $1.15 without stronger institutional demand. This connects the short-term chart pattern with slower market liquidity. Long-term momentum also depends on real-world XRP Ledger adoption, including stablecoin payments and AI agent microtransactions that could support transaction activity as integrations expand.

XRPL v3.2.0 Reports Raise Performance Concerns

XRPL developers reviewed several reports linked to xrpld v3.2.0 covering performance, synchronization, ledger acquisition, and validator public keys. One report indicated a node began falling behind mainnet consensus after upgrading from version 3.1.3 to 3.2.0, despite the same hardware previously keeping pace with validated ledgers.

The operator reported that reverting to version 3.1.3 resolved the issue, describing the behavior as a performance regression within version 3.2.0. Another Windows 10 report noted the server remained in a ‘connected’ state, maintaining about 30 stable peers and loading a valid UNL with 35 trusted validators. Despite receiving validations and proposals, the node did not reach syncing or tracking, instead continuing to close its own ledgers from the network’s genesis.

A validator report described similar behavior on mainnet, with the server failing to download ledger data from peers and unable to progress beyond the connected state. The reporter also noted slower ledger acquisition compared to version 3.1.3-1, taking about 13 minutes to move from an empty datastore to full status.

Developers also examined a validator-key mismatch where a service displayed the new validator public key while server_info continued showing the previously migrated key. The XRPL community continues reviewing these reports as node operators move to the latest release, with work connected to the planned fixCleanup3_2_0 amendment on July 29.

    Summary

XRP remains near $1.14 as traders watch the $1.15 breakout level and the $1.09 daily support. ETF inflows have slowed while outflows remain limited. Meanwhile, XRPL developers are reviewing v3.2.0 performance and syncing reports before the planned July 29 amendment work. Watch the daily close and network updates for further direction.
