  • Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up a Binance Account in India: KYC, Deposits, and Crypto Buying Tips for 2026

Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up a Binance Account in India: KYC, Deposits, and Crypto Buying Tips for 2026

Binance remains accessible to eligible Indian users in 2026 after registering as a reporting entity with the Financial Intelligence Unit–India. Opening an account is straightforward, but users must understand identity verification, funding methods, and Indian tax requirements before buying cryptocurrency.

FIU registration places Binance under applicable anti-money-laundering reporting obligations. It should not be confused with an RBI banking licence or a guarantee that every Binance product is available in India.

Step 1: Create a Binance Account

It is better for users to visit the official Binance website or app instead of downloading the program via links received on social media. Usually, to register, users have to provide their email address or mobile number to be verified. Enabling two-factor authentication before adding funds and setting limitations on withdrawals will make it less likely for the account to be hacked.

    Step 2: Complete KYC

Identity verification is required before accessing core exchange services. Binance’s India verification process includes PAN information alongside an accepted identity document, residence information, and facial or liveness verification. Existing customers can also be asked to complete re-verification when requirements change. Users should enter information exactly as it appears on official documents, as inconsistent details can delay verification.

Step 3: Choose a Funding Method

Funding options depend on what Binance displays for the verified account. Binance supports direct crypto deposits, card purchases, available fiat payment methods, and peer-to-peer trading in various markets. Indian users may also encounter Binance P2P, where buyers pay a verified counterparty using the payment method listed in the advertisement while Binance holds the cryptocurrency in escrow. P2P is different from depositing INR directly into a Binance bank account. Users should check the funding options currently shown inside their own account before transferring money.

    Step 4: Buy Cryptocurrency

Once funded, users can choose the desired cryptocurrency and enter an order. A market order executes against available liquidity, while a limit order lets the trader specify the maximum buying price or minimum selling price. Binance currently lists its regular spot fee at 0.10% for both makers and takers. Paying eligible fees with BNB can reduce the listed rate by 25% to 0.075%.

    Step 5: Withdraw Carefully

For crypto withdrawals, users must choose both the destination address and the blockchain network. Binance warns that sending funds through an incompatible network can lead to permanent loss. A small test transfer can be useful before moving a large amount.

    Why This Matters

Opening an exchange account is only the first step. Indian users also need to account for KYC, applicable taxes, trading fees, and custody risk. Before buying, confirm the final transaction cost and network. For long-term holdings, investors should also decide whether exchange custody or a self-custody wallet better matches their security requirements.

    Final Thoughts

Creating a Binance account in India is relatively straightforward, but users should understand KYC, funding methods, taxes, and trading fees before depositing funds. Security also matters, especially when withdrawing crypto, where users must carefully verify the wallet address and blockchain network.

    FAQs

    1. Is Binance available in India in 2026? Yes. Binance is accessible to eligible Indian users and is registered as a reporting entity with the Financial Intelligence Unit–India.

    2. What documents are needed for Binance KYC in India? Binance’s verification process can include PAN details, an accepted identity document, residential information, and facial or liveness verification.

    3. How can Indian users fund a Binance account? Funding options may include crypto deposits, cards, available fiat routes, and Binance P2P. Users should check the methods currently available in their verified account.

    4. What are Binance’s spot trading fees? Binance lists a regular spot trading fee of 0.10% for makers and takers. Eligible users paying fees with BNB can reduce the rate to 0.075%.

    5. What should users check before withdrawing crypto from Binance? Users should verify the wallet address, cryptocurrency, and blockchain network before confirming a withdrawal. Sending funds through an incompatible network can result in permanent loss.

What happens when meme culture meets serious crypto momentum? Which project could grab attention before the next big move? Avalanche, Litecoin, TRON, Cardano, Solana, and Stellar each bring a distinct mix of community, culture, technology, or brand power. Now, Apeing’s presale is officially live, adding a fresh name to the crypto presale list as the meme coin sector continues attracting major interest.

For those tracking the next 100x crypto, timing matters. Apeing blends meme culture, community energy, and a utility-focused vision, giving its live presale a compelling early-stage narrative. Tokens are already being swept up quickly, and with the current stage moving fast, the window to secure an allocation is getting tighter by the moment.

    1. Apeing Presale at Stage 3: Rapid Token Sales Could Make It the Next 100x Crypto

The Apeing presale stands out in the crypto presale list as it is quickly shifting from an opening-stage story to a race against a shrinking allocation. Apeing has officially moved into its live presale, and the current Paper Hand Panic Stage 3 is priced at $0.0004. According to the latest supplied stage figures, over 350 million tokens have already been sold. With over $68K raised and 211 holders, almost half of the available allocation has already been taken, creating the kind of urgency that can quickly turn a new presale into a major talking point.

Apeing’s Stage 3 has a 300 million token allocation. The project states a potential ROI of 2,400% at the current $0.0004 price. The next stage price is set at $0.0005, as the current allocation continues to move quickly. Once the Stage 3 allocation is filled, the presale moves forward, and the price can change, meaning the $0.0004 entry belongs specifically to the current window. The more tokens that are taken, the less of this stage remains. With 58% of stage 3 already allocated, the live Apeing presale is moving quickly, giving those following the next 100x crypto category a reason to pay close attention before the current stage closes. The current allocation is already nearly halfway gone, so those interested in Apeing can join the live presale before Stage 3 moves on.

The Earlier You Enter, the Earlier Your Apeing Story Starts

Stage 3 gives participants the chance to enter Apeing at the very beginning of its presale journey. The project’s tokenomics, staking model, referral mechanics, and staged structure are being introduced while the presale is still in its opening phase. That makes Stage 3 more than simply the first phase on the calendar, as it represents the earliest point at which you can become part of the Apeing ecosystem.

    How to Buy Apeing

If you want to get in at the beginning of Apeing’s presale journey, the process starts on the official Apeing website. Open the live presale, check the available purchase details, and enter the amount you want to use for $APEING. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the transaction, then keep your wallet and private keys secure.

    What is a “100x” crypto?

A 100x crypto is a token whose price increases 100 times from its original value. For example, a $1,000 investment would become $100,000 if the token achieved a 100x increase.

How can you find the next 100X crypto?

Look for factors such as a low market cap, strong market narratives, active communities, useful technology, and transparent tokenomics. Early-stage projects such as live crypto presales can also attract attention because they enter the market at an earlier valuation.

    Are 100x gains guaranteed?

A 100x increase is an ambitious growth scenario. Crypto prices can change significantly based on market conditions, adoption, liquidity, and community interest.

  • AlphaPepe Presale Hits 11,600 Holders as XRP Traders Eye Potential $8 Rally

AlphaPepe Presale Hits 11,600 Holders as XRP Traders Eye Potential $8 Rally

AlphaPepe, a meme token that combines artificial intelligence tools with decentralized exchange features, has crossed 11,600 holders and raised over USD 2.6 million through its ongoing presale. The presale price remains at USD 0.02931 per ALPE token, with a planned DEX launch scheduled for the first quarter of 2027 at an initial listing price of USD 0.08.

According to the project, more than 100 new holders are joining each day. Earlier presale stages sold out quickly as the fundraising cycle progressed. The presale will close in Q1 2027, and public price discovery will begin shortly after the token launches on decentralized exchanges.

Bonus Drop Incentive Attracts Early Adopters

AlphaPepe has introduced a Bonus Drop feature that rewards qualifying buyers with additional ALPE tokens. Users can reveal bonuses of 10%, 30%, 50%, 100%, or even 200% extra tokens after making a purchase. More than 300 buyers have already taken advantage of the program. Each revealed bonus remains active for 48 hours and applies only to purchases made during that window. Previous buying activity can also improve the chance of receiving larger bonus percentages.

    Latoken Partnership Expands Exchange Reach

AlphaPepe has announced Latoken as its fourth centralized exchange (CEX) partner before the token begins public trading. The project indicated that additional CEX partnerships are expected before the launch. Online speculation about a potential tie-up with a higher-tier exchange has not been confirmed, and those claims remain unverified.

Alongside the exchange roadmap, AlphaPepe is connected to AlphaSwap, described as its first AI-powered decentralized exchange product. AlphaSwap Early Access is already live, offering pre-swap intelligence, risk checks, trend signals, and other tools designed to inform traders before they swap volatile tokens. This product development gives ALPE a utility layer beyond its meme coin branding.

XRP’s USD 8 Scenario Hinges on Sustained Demand

Meanwhile, XRP price analysis continues to focus on several catalysts: ETF flows, the growth of RLUSD stablecoin, XRP Ledger activity, tokenization use cases, and rising institutional interest. However, reaching USD 8 would require sustained liquidity and continued buying pressure. A breakout would depend on traders pricing in XRP Ledger developments and institutional involvement, rather than just headlines.

AlphaPepe and XRP operate at different market stages. XRP is an established crypto asset trading on major exchanges, while ALPE is still in presale and has not yet entered public price discovery. XRP’s USD 8 target relies on proven demand in an existing market, whereas AlphaPepe’s next key milestones are its presale closure and the Q1 2027 DEX launch.

  • XRP Faces Key Regulatory Test as CLARITY Act Vote Nears and ETF Use Grows in US Markets

XRP Faces Key Regulatory Test as CLARITY Act Vote Nears and ETF Use Grows in US Markets

XRP traders are closely watching the September 15 procedural vote on the CLARITY Act, a legislative milestone that could define the regulatory landscape for digital assets. Meanwhile, fresh inflows into XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and a Charles Schwab filing revealing XRP ETF shares used as collateral underscore the token’s expanding institutional footprint in the United States.

CLARITY Act Vote: A Pivotal Moment for XRP

The CLARITY Act aims to establish a comprehensive framework dividing oversight of digital assets between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). For XRP, a key question was resolved in March when the SEC classified it as a digital commodity—alongside Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, and Cardano—based on its network-driven value rather than managerial profit expectations.

The September 15 Senate cloture vote on the motion to proceed to H.R. 3633 requires 60 votes to advance. While not final passage, a failure would significantly reduce the bill’s chances this year. Political hurdles remain, including an unresolved ethics dispute over government officials profiting from the crypto industry, as reported by Semafor. However, the National Sheriffs’ Association recently shifted from opposition to neutral, removing one obstacle.

XRP ETFs Gain Traction with Schwab Collateral and New Inflows

On September 8, a Charles Schwab Family of Funds filing with the SEC disclosed eight XRP ETF collateral line items valued at approximately $11.39 million. These entries—from Bitwise, Canary Capital, Franklin Templeton, and Grayscale—secured repurchase agreements involving Schwab’s Prime Advantage Money Fund and two Wall Street counterparties. The filing does not indicate Schwab directly buying or holding XRP, but rather using ETF shares as collateral.

Separately, SoSoValue data shows five XRP products recorded nearly $2 million in net inflows during Tuesday’s session. An earlier estimate of $4.8 million had counted only three collateral entries, excluding five additional line items in the same Schwab filing.

    What to Watch Next

XRP enters a critical week with the CLARITY Act vote and expanding ETF activity. The Senate’s decision could shape the token’s regulatory future, while institutional use cases continue to grow. Traders are also eyeing the Federal Reserve meeting and Friday’s CPI report for broader market cues.

  • Ethereum Hovers at $2.5K as Abraxas Capital Secures $353M Short Hedge on Hyperliquid

Ethereum Hovers at $2.5K as Abraxas Capital Secures $353M Short Hedge on Hyperliquid

Ethereum remained near USD 2,480 on Wednesday as Abraxas Capital increased its spot holdings to hedge a USD 353.27 million ETH short position on Hyperliquid. The USD 2,500 level continues to act as a firm resistance cap, blocking any meaningful upside momentum.

ETH fell about 0.45% on the daily chart, trading inside its established USD 2,400 to USD 2,500 range. The prolonged sideways move has reinforced USD 2,500 as a key barrier for traders.

Abraxas Capital Expands Its Ethereum Hedge

According to Lookonchain, Abraxas Capital recently purchased another 13,000 ETH worth approximately USD 32.39 million. This acquisition supports its hedge against 141,180 ETH in short positions, which carry a value of about USD 353.27 million. The firm uses spot purchases to offset potential losses should Ethereum rise and pressure leveraged short positions.

Earlier, Abraxas Capital had built USD 783 million in Hyperliquid shorts while withdrawing 73,872 ETH from Binance. That spot position was valued at roughly USD 173.17 million. Other trading desks followed similar strategies: Fasanara Capital held 138,569 ETH in short positions, while Wintermute held 3,425 BTC in shorts during the late-August period.

    Short Liquidations Keep Risk Elevated

Short traders still face pressure despite Ethereum’s limited price movement. About USD 7.3 million in short positions faced liquidation during the previous 24 hours. A market-neutral structure combines long and short exposure to reduce directional risk, but spot and perpetual prices can separate sharply during volatile periods, creating basis risk.

Funding also affects the strategy. If funding rates turn negative against crowded short positions, traders can face ongoing costs even when their directional hedge remains intact. Venue leverage adds another layer of exposure — Hyperliquid has recorded leveraged liquidations during 2026, including a roughly USD 100 million ETH short using 23 times leverage.

Falling Exchange Supply Supports ETH Range

Ethereum’s Exchange Supply Ratio declined during the past week and returned to levels last recorded in late August. The move suggests earlier September supply reached the market and found buyers. A falling ratio points to stronger exchange outflows than inflows. Historically, lower available exchange supply reduces immediate selling pressure when demand remains stable.

Ethereum’s momentum indicators also stayed positive during the consolidation period. The Momentum Shift indicator stood near 766, suggesting recent downside moves remained relatively shallow. Continued spot buying could further reduce available supply and open a path toward USD 2,800.

At the same time, Bitcoin remained below USD 80,000 ahead of US inflation data. This broader market pause has kept Ethereum inside the narrow range where carry strategies can operate.

  • Visa Connects On-Chain Credit with Stablecoin Card Programs to Boost Working Capital Access

Visa Connects On-Chain Credit with Stablecoin Card Programs to Boost Working Capital Access

Visa has introduced an on-chain credit model that links VisaNet settlement data with blockchain lending infrastructure. The initiative aims to help stablecoin-linked card programs and fintechs obtain working capital more efficiently.

By combining payment performance data with on-chain credit markets, Visa enables lenders to assess financing needs more accurately while supporting faster and more transparent capital access. The company’s On-Chain Analytics Dashboard reveals that over $694 billion in stablecoin-denominated loans have moved through on-chain lending protocols since 2020, though most activity has remained within crypto markets. Visa now seeks to connect these lending systems with businesses reliant on payment settlement and working capital.

Visa currently supports more than 160 stablecoin-linked card programs across its network, with payment volume on these programs growing nearly 200% year-over-year. The company’s stablecoin settlement volume has surpassed a $20 billion annualized run rate—a more than fifteenfold increase from the previous year. However, emerging payment companies often struggle to secure funding during rapid growth, as traditional lenders typically require greater scale, longer operating histories, or manual underwriting. Visa believes blockchain-based lending can address these barriers when lenders receive trusted settlement data, with smart contracts automating funding, collateral management, and repayment.

Visa highlighted its work with Credit Coop as an early example. Credit Coop provides working capital and settlement financing for stablecoin-linked card programs through smart contracts. With customer approval, the company combines Visa settlement data with on-chain transaction records to assess credit performance and support automated settlement financing. Since 2023, this model has supported over $2.5 billion in cumulative financed settlement volume with zero defaults. The infrastructure has processed more than 3,000 borrowing events and 9,000 repayment events on-chain, creating a programmable and auditable financing record.

This initiative extends Visa’s broader stablecoin strategy, which includes the Visa Stablecoin Platform, stablecoin settlement, expanded card programs, and digital asset services for financial institutions. Visa views on-chain credit as another bridge between traditional payment systems and digital asset infrastructure, with potential applications across lending, treasury management, and settlement services.

  • Bitcoin Sidechains Explained: Mechanics, Benefits, and Security Risks

Bitcoin Sidechains Explained: Mechanics, Benefits, and Security Risks

    What Is a Bitcoin Sidechain?

A Bitcoin sidechain is an independent blockchain that connects to the Bitcoin network through a mechanism called a two-way peg. Users lock their BTC on the main Bitcoin blockchain, and in return, they receive an equivalent asset on the sidechain. When they want to move back, the sidechain asset is destroyed or locked, and the original BTC becomes available again. This design allows Bitcoin-linked value to operate under different rules without altering Bitcoin itself.

    Features That Sidechains Enable

Because sidechains operate independently, developers can introduce functionality that would be difficult to implement directly on Bitcoin. For example, Liquid—a popular sidechain—supports confidential transactions and issued assets. Other sidechains can offer smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, or faster payment settlement. Critically, if an experimental feature fails on a sidechain, Bitcoin’s consensus rules remain unchanged, preserving the main network’s security and stability.

    The Security Trade-Off

Moving BTC to a sidechain introduces new trust assumptions. Liquid, for instance, relies on a federation of 15 functionaries, with an 11-of-15 quorum responsible for block production and managing the Bitcoin peg. Users therefore depend on federation security rather than Bitcoin’s mining-based security. This distinction became highly visible in September 2026, when approximately 4,000 BTC (worth around USD 320 million) was withdrawn from Liquid’s federation wallet during a security incident. Liquid stated that the cryptographic key involved had not been compromised. Nevertheless, the incident underscores that BTC on a sidechain should not be treated as carrying the same operational risk as BTC held directly on Bitcoin.

    Withdrawal Dependencies

Withdrawing BTC from a sidechain also depends on the operators. Liquid’s standard peg-in requires 102 Bitcoin confirmations (roughly 17 hours), while peg-outs are managed by federation participants and typically take 11 to 35 minutes. If enough functionaries become unavailable, the sidechain may stop producing blocks until quorum is restored. Users must be aware of these potential delays and dependencies.

    Final Thoughts

Sidechains allow Bitcoin-linked capital to access functionality unavailable on the base network without changing Bitcoin itself. However, additional functionality comes with additional trust assumptions. Before moving BTC to a sidechain, investors should examine who controls the peg, how assets can be recovered, how consensus works, and what happens if operators fail. Treating sidechain BTC as equivalent to self-custodied Bitcoin is not advisable.

    1. What is a Bitcoin sidechain? A Bitcoin sidechain is a separate blockchain connected to Bitcoin through a two-way peg. Users lock BTC and receive an equivalent sidechain asset that can later be redeemed.
    2. How does Liquid Network work with Bitcoin? Liquid allows BTC to be converted into L-BTC for faster settlement and additional features. Its federation manages the peg and block production using a 15-functionary structure.
    3. Are Bitcoin sidechains as secure as Bitcoin itself? Not necessarily. Sidechains use their own consensus, operators, and peg mechanisms, introducing risks that do not exist when holding BTC directly on Bitcoin.
    4. What risks come with moving BTC to a sidechain? Main risks include federation failure, peg disruption, software bugs, and temporary withdrawal problems. Sidechain assets depend on more than Bitcoin’s mining security alone.
    5. Why do people use Bitcoin sidechains? Sidechains can provide faster settlement, confidential transactions, issued assets, and smart-contract functionality, expanding Bitcoin-linked use cases without changing Bitcoin’s base consensus rules.

MEXC Launches Opportunity Compass to Bridge Crypto and Traditional Finance Knowledge Gaps

MEXC, a pioneer in zero-fee digital asset trading, has officially launched Opportunity Compass, a global markets education initiative designed to help crypto-native users better understand both digital and traditional financial markets. The program arrives as new research reveals that 53.7% of crypto users have already invested in stocks, yet significant knowledge gaps remain.

    Why Opportunity Compass Matters

According to a joint survey by MEXC and CoinGecko, trading volumes for traditional financial assets on crypto exchanges hit $1.45 trillion in the first half of 2026—nearly ten times the total for all of 2025. The survey also found:

    • 53.7% of respondents have invested in stocks, indicating growing crossover between crypto and traditional markets.
    • Among those who haven’t used stock products, 43.1% cite insufficient investment knowledge as a key barrier.
    • Among former stock investors who stopped, 48.3% said limited knowledge contributed to their decision.
    • Current stock investors are influenced by individual stock price movements (44%) and the AI boom (34%).

These findings underscore that access to financial products is expanding faster than financial literacy. MEXC’s Opportunity Compass aims to close that gap.

    A Five-Season Educational Journey

The program features five seasons with 30 episodes, guiding users from foundational market knowledge to advanced opportunity evaluation:

    1. See the Global Opportunities – Understand the global financial landscape and how markets connect.
    2. Understand Asset Value – Explore what gives stocks, gold, commodities, ETFs, Bitcoin, and other assets their value.
    3. Decode Market Trends – Learn about interest rates, inflation, market cycles, earnings, and industry trends like AI and semiconductors.
    4. Explore Emerging Opportunities – Dive into tokenized assets, real-world assets, prediction markets, and other models at the intersection of crypto and traditional finance.
    5. Become an Opportunity Explorer – Build an independent framework for evaluating markets, opportunities, and risks.

Content will roll out from September through December 2026 via a dedicated education hub.

    Industry Partnerships

Opportunity Compass is not just an MEXC initiative—it brings together partners including xStocks by PAYWARD, Plume, Tether, Pyth, Optimism, CMT Digital, and RootData. These participants represent different parts of the digital asset and financial ecosystem, providing diverse perspectives.

    CEO’s Vision

“Finding opportunities is important. What matters even more is having a systematic way to understand, evaluate, and act on them,” said Vugar Usi Zade, CEO of MEXC. “As financial markets become more connected, users need more than access alone. Opportunity Compass helps users understand what drives different markets, evaluate opportunities and risks, and build their own framework for navigating a more complex financial landscape.”
