  • Hedera (HBAR) Price Prediction: Tightening Triangle Meets Enterprise Growth

Hedera (HBAR) Price Prediction: Tightening Triangle Meets Enterprise Growth

HBAR, the native token of Hedera, is trading at $0.09153 after a 7.98% drop. The pullback comes as a triangular chart formation reaches a critical point, while the network pushes deeper into enterprise blockchain with new IBM Cloud and Taurus integrations.

Derivatives activity continues to dominate trading. CoinGlass data from Sept. 24 put HBAR futures volume at $206.56 million, compared with spot volume of $67.92 million — meaning leveraged traders accounted for more than three times the activity of spot buyers.

HBAR Triangle Puts Price Resolution in Focus

HBAR’s chart structure has compressed into a triangle, placing traders’ focus on its next directional move. The setup follows a sharp daily decline, with the token trading below recent levels.

Open interest reached $145.21 million, signaling that substantial futures exposure remains active. As the triangle narrows, changes in leveraged positioning could become important in determining whether HBAR breaks upward or extends its slide.

The supply picture is clearly defined. Hedera has a fixed maximum supply of 50 billion HBAR, and 43.83 billion tokens are already in circulation. That means most of the network’s maximum token supply is now available, giving traders full visibility into supply dynamics.

IBM Cloud Listing Expands Hedera’s Enterprise Reach

On the enterprise side, The Hashgraph Group has become an IBM Silver Partner, according to crypto account ALLINCRYPTO. Its Hedera-powered IDTrust platform is now listed on IBM Cloud, making the technology accessible to IBM’s global customer base.

This development broadens Hedera’s exposure beyond cryptocurrency trading. IDTrust gives enterprise users another route to interact with technology running on Hedera infrastructure. IBM is already a member of Hedera’s governing council, which also includes Google, Deutsche Telekom, and Standard Bank.

Hedera says its network has processed more than 70 billion transactions. Lloyds Bank recently used Hedera to post tokenized gilts and fund units as foreign exchange collateral, underscoring the network’s institutional appeal.

Taurus Completes Full Hedera Stack Integration

Taurus, a Swiss digital asset infrastructure provider, has completed an 18-month integration of Hedera’s full technology stack. The company serves more than 40 banks and regulated financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, CACEIS, and State Street.

The integration allows Taurus clients to custody and stake HBAR, issue tokens, and deploy smart contracts through one platform. It covers Taurus-PROTECT, Taurus-EXPLORER, and Taurus-CAPITAL. The final development added smart contract functionality through Hedera’s EVM-compatible Smart Contract Service, which supports Solidity and other established Ethereum development tools.

Institutions can also issue assets through the Hedera Token Service. Potential applications include tokenized bonds, funds, stablecoins, and other programmable financial instruments.

Taurus co-founder Lamine Brahimi said financial institutions want infrastructure that supports more than one digital asset use case. Clients are looking for a single platform that covers their broader digital asset strategies, he added.

    What to Watch Next

The central question is whether HBAR’s tightening triangle will resolve to the upside alongside stronger enterprise activity, or whether derivatives-led selling will continue to control short-term price action. Traders may want to monitor the triangle, derivatives positioning, and institutional adoption as the next price move develops.

  • HODL in Cryptocurrency: The Buy-and-Hold Strategy Explained

HODL in Cryptocurrency: The Buy-and-Hold Strategy Explained

Written by Bhavesh Maurya | Reviewed by Achu Krishnan | Published on September 23, 2026

HODL is one of cryptocurrency’s oldest investing terms. It describes holding a digital asset through short-term price fluctuations instead of repeatedly buying and selling based on market movements. Although closely associated with Bitcoin, the approach can be applied to other cryptocurrencies.

The term originated from a misspelled ‘I AM HODLING’ post on the BitcoinTalk forum in 2013. What began as an internet joke eventually became shorthand for long-term conviction in cryptocurrency.

    How the HODL Strategy Works

A HODL investor generally buys an asset and keeps it despite temporary rallies, corrections or periods of high volatility. Suppose an investor purchases Bitcoin at USD 70,000 as they believe adoption will increase over several years. If Bitcoin subsequently falls to USD 55,000, a HODL strategy would typically involve holding the position rather than selling solely because of the decline. The strategy attempts to reduce dependence on correctly timing short-term market movements.

However, HODLing and dollar-cost averaging are different. HODLing describes retaining an existing position, while dollar-cost averaging involves making repeated purchases at predetermined intervals.

Long-Term Holders Can Influence Bitcoin Supply

On-chain analytics provide another way to examine holding behavior. Glassnode classifies Bitcoin’s long-term and short-term holder supply using coin-holding age. Its model uses a transition centered around approximately 155 days rather than simply treating every wallet holding Bitcoin as a long-term investor.

According to recent Glassnode data, approximately 61.5% of Bitcoin’s circulating supply is classified as long-term-holder supply in profit, while another 26.4% represents long-term-holder supply in loss. Long periods of limited selling can reduce liquid supply available to markets, although holding behavior alone does not determine Bitcoin’s price.

HODLing Does Not Remove Investment Risk

Buy-and-hold strategies can reduce frequent trading decisions, transaction fees and attempts to time volatile markets. They cannot protect investors from permanent losses. A cryptocurrency can decline substantially, lose users, experience technological problems or become less relevant. Holding an unsuccessful asset longer does not automatically improve the investment outcome.

Custody creates another consideration. Long-term investors using self-custody must protect private keys and recovery phrases, while exchange users face counterparty and platform risks.

    Market Cycles Still Matter

Bitcoin demonstrates why HODLing requires tolerance for volatility. Even long-term holders can experience substantial unrealized losses during market downturns before prices recover. Glassnode reported in September that long-term-holder behavior was helping explain Bitcoin’s unusually subdued one-month realized volatility.

    Final Thoughts

HODLing is fundamentally a long-term ownership strategy rather than a guarantee of returns. Its simplicity can reduce emotional short-term trading, but outcomes still depend on asset quality, entry price, custody security, investment horizon and an investor’s ability to tolerate potentially severe drawdowns.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    1. What does HODL mean in cryptocurrency?
HODL means holding a cryptocurrency for the long term despite short-term price fluctuations. The term originated from a misspelled “I AM HODLING” BitcoinTalk post in 2013.

    2. How does the HODL strategy work?
Investors buy a cryptocurrency and continue holding it through market rallies and corrections. The strategy aims to reduce reliance on accurately timing short-term market movements.

    3. Is HODLing the same as dollar-cost averaging?
No. HODLing involves retaining an existing crypto investment, while dollar-cost averaging involves regularly investing a fixed amount at predetermined intervals regardless of market prices.

    4. What are the risks of HODLing crypto?
HODLing does not protect against permanent losses, technological failures or declining adoption. Investors also face custody risks when storing assets themselves or counterparty risks when using exchanges.

    5. How does HODLing affect Bitcoin supply?
When long-term holders avoid selling, fewer Bitcoin may be readily available for trading. However, supply held by long-term investors is only one of many factors that can influence Bitcoin’s market price.

  • DeFi Needs Bitcoin, Not the Other Way Around: How Native Cross-Chain Trading Is Changing the Game

DeFi Needs Bitcoin, Not the Other Way Around: How Native Cross-Chain Trading Is Changing the Game

Bitcoin has spent years on the sidelines of the decentralized finance (DeFi) boom. Ethereum built decentralized exchanges, lending markets, and stablecoins. Solana created its own trading ecosystem. New chains launched with entire financial stacks from day one. Bitcoin kept doing what Bitcoin does: moving BTC and securing the network.

So crypto found workarounds. Take Bitcoin, lock it somewhere, issue a token that represents it on another blockchain, and suddenly that value can move through DeFi. Wrapped Bitcoin became a major part of the market because the idea works—but it also created a strange situation. To use Bitcoin across crypto, users often had to stop using Bitcoin itself.

There is now another option. Instead of rebuilding BTC as a token on somebody else’s blockchain, protocols can connect directly to Bitcoin and trade the native asset where it already lives. THORChain has spent years building around that idea.

Bitcoin Never Needed to Be an Ethereum Token

Most DeFi markets are built inside individual blockchains. ETH and ERC-20 tokens can interact easily because they live in the same environment. The same goes for assets inside Solana or other smart-contract networks. Bitcoin is somewhere else entirely.

If someone owns BTC and wants ETH, there is no native Bitcoin function that simply hands the transaction over to Ethereum. The two networks were never built to talk to each other. Wrapped assets then must jump in to fill the gap.

A user deposits BTC into a system that holds or secures it, and another token is created elsewhere. That token tracks Bitcoin’s value and can then be traded, lent, or deposited into applications on the destination chain.

This opened a huge amount of Bitcoin-linked capital to DeFi—but it also means the user is now relying on several outside factors. There is the issuer or bridge. There are smart contracts. There is a redemption mechanism. There may be custodians involved. The token may be called Bitcoin, branded like Bitcoin, and trade close to the price of Bitcoin, but it is still another asset running on another network.

For exchanging BTC into another cryptocurrency, it can be unnecessary steps.

    THORChain Trades Bitcoin as Bitcoin

THORChain is a decentralized exchange built to swap assets between blockchains without first wrapping them. Someone holding BTC can send Bitcoin from a Bitcoin wallet and receive ETH at an Ethereum address. The BTC stays native to Bitcoin until it enters the swap. The ETH that comes out is native ETH. No WBTC needs to be minted.

The same basic setup works across the other networks supported by the protocol, including chains such as Solana, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Base, XRP Ledger, and Litecoin. This puts THORChain in a different category above most standard decentralized exchanges.

Uniswap trades tokens that already exist on Ethereum. A Solana DEX trades assets already sitting on Solana. THORChain deals with coins that live on separate networks and were never designed to share a market, which requires a different structure underneath.

    RUNE Is the Plumbing

Every THORChain liquidity pool connects a supported asset with RUNE, the protocol’s native asset. A BTC-to-ETH trade does not need a dedicated BTC/ETH pool. The protocol can route BTC through a BTC/RUNE pool and then into an ETH/RUNE pool. The person making the trade does not need to go out and buy RUNE first—the routing happens behind the scenes.

This keeps THORChain from having to create a separate liquidity market for every imaginable pair. Add more assets to a traditional pair-by-pair system and the number of pools explodes: BTC/ETH, BTC/SOL, BTC/USDC, ETH/SOL, ETH/USDC, SOL/USDC. Keep going and liquidity starts getting spread across dozens of separate markets. RUNE gives those pools a common connection.

For traders, most of that is invisible. They send one asset and receive another.

What Happens When BTC Is Swapped?

Suppose someone wants to swap native BTC for native ETH. They choose BTC as the input, enter an Ethereum destination address, and send Bitcoin from their wallet. THORChain’s nodes detect the incoming Bitcoin transaction. The protocol handles the pool routing, then authorizes the outbound ETH transaction from its network vault.

Those vaults do not work like a usual exchange wallet controlled by one company. THORChain uses threshold-signature cryptography, meaning no single node holds the full signing key needed to move the assets. Node operators also bond RUNE as collateral. That bond forms part of the protocol’s security model and can be penalized when nodes break the network’s rules.

There is still infrastructure in the middle. There is still protocol risk. None of this should be confused with magically teleporting coins between chains. But the user does not leave BTC sitting in a centralized exchange account and does not receive a wrapped representation of Bitcoin on the other side. The trade settles from one native asset into another.

    People Are Actually Using It

Native cross-chain trading is not just an interesting technical experiment anymore. THORChain reported $2.82 billion in swap volume during the first quarter of 2026. BTC-to-ETH was its biggest route, accounting for roughly $981 million. BTC-to-stablecoin trades added hundreds of millions more. Those numbers show what people are actually doing with the protocol.

A meaningful chunk of THORChain activity comes from users moving between Bitcoin and other major crypto assets without putting a wrapped version of BTC in the middle. That is a very different version of “Bitcoin DeFi” from the one the industry has discussed for years.

    Bitcoin Can Stay Boring

There is a constant effort to make Bitcoin do more. New layers promise smart contracts. New protocols are trying to build lending around BTC. Developers keep pushing more financial activity toward the Bitcoin ecosystem. Some of that will work; some of it probably will not.

But Bitcoin does not need to become Ethereum for its liquidity to become useful across crypto. It can remain the relatively simple network it was designed to be, and instead infrastructure can be built around it. THORChain shows what that can look like. Bitcoin sits on Bitcoin. Ethereum sits on Ethereum. Solana sits on Solana. The protocol handles the exchange between them. Native cross-chain liquidity makes the world come to Bitcoin instead.

  • Bitcoin Surges to Eight-Month High Above $87,000 as ETF Inflows and Institutional Buying Spark Rally

Bitcoin Surges to Eight-Month High Above $87,000 as ETF Inflows and Institutional Buying Spark Rally

Bitcoin has staged one of its strongest recoveries of 2026, climbing above USD 87,000 on September 21 and reaching its highest level since late January. The move follows a difficult first half and reflects stronger spot demand, ETF inflows, institutional buying, and renewed activity across derivatives markets.

Breaking Through a Major Resistance Zone

The rally pushed Bitcoin through a closely watched on-chain resistance region. Glassnode identified USD 83,000–USD 86,000 as a major ceiling formed by long-term-holder cost basis, liquidation positioning, and ETF break-even levels. Approximately 1.07 million BTC had been acquired between USD 83,000 and USD 86,000, with almost all of that supply belonging to long-term holders. Moving above this area represented an important test of whether the market could absorb potential selling. According to Glassnode’s September 21 Market Pulse, Bitcoin touched USD 86,000 and rose more than 10% from the previous Sunday’s close. Spot taker flow shifted from net selling to net buying, while trading volume and momentum strengthened.

    ETF Demand Returns Strongly

According to SoSoValue, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded USD 998.95 million in net inflows on September 21, their strongest daily intake since October 2025. BlackRock’s IBIT attracted USD 381.37 million, while Fidelity and ARK 21Shares collectively accounted for another USD 527.96 million. On September 22, inflows continued with USD 714.75 million. These inflows helped push Bitcoin above an estimated ETF-holder cost basis of USD 81,722, putting the average ETF investor back into profit.

    Derivatives Activity Increases

Leverage has also returned. Glassnode reported futures open interest above its historical high band, while options open interest stood near USD 41 billion. Rising funding rates indicated that long traders were paying increasingly higher costs to maintain leveraged positions. A weekend short squeeze reportedly liquidated roughly USD 650 million in crypto positions, adding momentum as traders betting on falling prices were forced out.

    Institutional Buying Adds Momentum

Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) resumed Bitcoin accumulation, purchasing 950 BTC for USD 75.7 million at an average price of USD 79,670. The September 21 acquisition lifted its holdings to 846,000 BTC, acquired for approximately USD 63.8 billion at an average of USD 75,416 per Bitcoin. The rally also coincided with stronger technology stocks, reinforcing a broader risk-on market environment across global crypto markets.

    Final Thoughts

Bitcoin’s eight-month high reflects ETF inflows, spot demand, institutional purchases, and rising derivatives activity. Breaking above USD 83,000–USD 86,000 removed an important resistance zone. Sustaining the rally will depend on continued demand and controlled leverage.

    FAQs

    1. Why did Bitcoin rise above USD 87,000? Bitcoin’s rally was supported by stronger spot demand, substantial US spot ETF inflows, institutional purchases, and increased derivatives activity. A breakout above the USD 83,000–USD 86,000 resistance zone added momentum.

    2. How much money is flowing into spot Bitcoin ETFs? According to SoSoValue data cited in the article, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded USD 998.95 million of net inflows on September 21, followed by another USD 714.75 million on September 22.

    3. Why is the USD 83,000–USD 86,000 Bitcoin range important? Glassnode identified this range as an important on-chain resistance area, with approximately 1.07 million BTC acquired there. Moving above it indicated that the market was absorbing potential selling pressure.

    4. How are derivatives affecting the Bitcoin rally? Futures and options open interest has increased alongside funding rates, indicating stronger leveraged activity. Short liquidations can accelerate rallies as bearish traders are forced to close their positions by buying back exposure.

    5. Is institutional demand for Bitcoin increasing again? Recent activity indicates renewed institutional and corporate demand. Strategy purchased another 950 BTC for USD 75.7 million, while strong spot Bitcoin ETF inflows provided another major source of market demand.

  • 4 Cryptocurrencies Worth Buying Now: BlockDAG, Solana, Dogecoin, and Cardano

4 Cryptocurrencies Worth Buying Now: BlockDAG, Solana, Dogecoin, and Cardano

The hunt for the next top crypto to buy is intensifying as traders scan the market for maximum returns. While established layer-1 projects and major altcoins boast strong development pipelines, time-sensitive structures create immediate windows of opportunity. BlockDAG leads with an explosive ecosystem update that guarantees high upside potential for eligible participants. Alongside this breakthrough asset, proven tokens like Solana, Dogecoin, and Cardano offer unique technical setups for forward-thinking portfolios. Investors seeking strategic entries must evaluate real-time metrics, technical supports, and time-sensitive incentives before these market windows snap shut.

    1. BlockDAG: Limited 1.5x $0.03 USDT Buyback Window

BlockDAG claims the top spot among crypto picks thanks to a major structural deployment. The project has activated its USDT Buyback Balance on user dashboards, allowing the program to move forward under revised regulatory compliance standards. In a massive update, the previous $0.02 buyback valuation has been boosted to $0.03 USDT for a strict 7-day window. This temporary enhancement represents a 1.5x increase in payout value. Direct BDAG is currently available at $0.00000017, giving buyers a massive strategic advantage. During this limited week-long period, purchases of both BDAG Legacy and New BDAG add directly to an investor’s overall Buyback Allocation.

The structure is simple: eligible Legacy and New BDAG are merged into one unified USDT Buyback Balance. The path follows a straightforward process where buying BDAG builds your eligible allocation, leading directly to the elevated $0.03 buyback price. The dashboard calculates final values automatically through a streamlined compression process before applying the $0.03 price. Settlement operations are scheduled to execute in batches to accommodate compliance steps. Because this elevated allocation price expires after 7 days, immediate action is required to maximize allocations before the dashboard resets.

    2. Solana (SOL): Upgrades Drive Long-Term Resilience

Solana secures its place as a top crypto due to its high-throughput infrastructure and impending architectural milestones. Trading near $101.27 with a market capitalization of $58.99B, a circulating supply of 582.50M SOL, and a 24-hour volume around $1.80B, SOL remains a key contender in the layer-1 space despite a 2026 YTD change of -22.68%. The network is preparing for its Alpenglow consensus upgrade, designed to replace Proof of History and Tower BFT with two new mechanisms: Votor, capable of finalizing blocks in 100 to 150 milliseconds, and Rotor, a more efficient data relay protocol than the existing Turbine system.

Technically, SOL sits above all four primary exponential moving averages after rallying from a June low near $70 to a September high above $110, before pulling back to consolidate around $101. The relative strength index has eased from overbought levels above 75 into the high-50s, reflecting a cooling of momentum rather than a reversal. Immediate support rests at the 20-day EMA near $100, while a break lower opens the $93 to $88 zone representing the 50 and 100-day EMA cluster. Solana’s pending upgrade remains the key structural catalyst alongside continued spot ETF speculation, making this consolidation phase a focus for forward-looking observers.

    3. Dogecoin (DOGE): High-Beta Favorite Eyes Next Breakout

Dogecoin continues to hold its reputation as a top crypto for retail market participants seeking strong risk-on exposure. Backed by an active community and ongoing attention from industry leaders, DOGE maintains a market capitalization of $12.62B with a current trading price of $0.08326, a circulating supply of 151.50B DOGE, a 24-hour volume near $1.20B, and a YTD change of -39.93%. Originally created as a meme, it has transformed into a major large-cap asset that reacts rapidly to broad shifts in market sentiment.

The technical layout displays a mixed setup as DOGE digests its August rally from around $0.075 to a September high near $0.094. Price action trades below its 20 and 200-day EMAs but holds firmly above its 50 and 100-day EMAs. An RSI reading between 49 and 55 indicates roughly neutral momentum. So long as DOGE holds above the $0.081 support level, the structure remains intact, while a break lower opens $0.075 as the next key floor. The current pullback looks more like a healthy reset than a breakdown, preserving its position as a high-beta favorite.

    4. Cardano (ADA): Structural Focus Offers Value Potential

Cardano rounds up the list of top cryptos to purchase, sustaining its steadfast dedication to academic sustainability and cross-chain interoperability. ADA is currently valued at $0.1935, with a market cap of $7.08B, circulating supply of 36.60B ADA, out of a maximum supply of 45B. ADA witnessed the worst month in terms of performance compared to the other top 10 cryptocurrencies, having retreated from levels around $0.216 to the current price.

Technically speaking, ADA is trading below its 20-, 100-, and 200-day EMAs and is currently trading in line with its 50-day EMA. An RSI reading of 43, which is below its signal line, indicates waning technical momentum. A technical rally above the $0.200 to $0.205 range of EMAs is needed in order to improve this setup, but if that fails, the low-$0.18 zone will be important technical support. While technically weak, the ongoing development roadmap of Cardano remains the key counter-story.

    Key Insights

The analysis of the top crypto to buy necessitates balancing long-term technological visions with timely liquidity motivation. Known blockchain systems such as Solana, Dogecoin, and Cardano still provide special entry zones driven by protocol innovations and high liquidity. BlockDAG, on the other hand, changes the current situation dramatically through its unprecedented Buyback allocation price at $0.03 USDT. With BDAG priced at $0.00000017 and the buyback valued at 1.5x only during a short 7-day period, players who monitor their dashboard allocations will have limited time to utilize the newly formed conditions. Do not miss the chance to check your dashboard allocations and gain the best position.

  • Forecasting Cryptocurrency Prices with AI and Machine Learning: Data, Methods, and Limitations

Forecasting Cryptocurrency Prices with AI and Machine Learning: Data, Methods, and Limitations

Cryptocurrency markets generate vast amounts of data every second. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning systems can process price movements, trading volume, derivatives positioning, blockchain activity, and text-based sentiment to help researchers estimate probabilities for future market behavior. While these tools can improve analysis, they cannot reliably predict exact future prices.

How Machine Learning Identifies Patterns in Market Data

Traditional technical analysis focuses on price, volume, and indicators. Machine learning models can process a wider range of variables, including historical returns, volatility, order book imbalances, funding rates, open interest, liquidations, and correlations with conventional markets. Models learn relationships between inputs and outcomes. Classification models can estimate whether Bitcoin is more likely to rise or fall, while regression models can estimate returns or price ranges. The CFTC’s Technology Advisory Committee has identified predictive analytics, asset-price forecasting, and analysis of large amounts of unstructured data as potential AI applications in financial markets.

Blockchain Data Adds Another Information Layer

Cryptocurrency markets provide data unavailable in many conventional markets because activity occurs on public blockchains. Models can incorporate exchange inflows, wallet balances, realized profits, transaction activity, and long-term holder behavior. Glassnode’s September 2026 research showed how on-chain data can provide context for Bitcoin markets. It reported that Bitcoin gained 23% over 21 sessions while remaining 10% lower for the year. The firm also identified USD 83,000–USD 86,000 as a resistance zone based on long-term holder cost basis and institutional break-even levels.

AI Can Analyze News and Sentiment

Natural-language processing can convert news, regulatory announcements, corporate disclosures, and social media discussions into sentiment scores or event classifications. Combining these signals with quantitative data can help models react to information that price charts alone may not capture. However, misleading information, changing narratives, and poor-quality data can reduce forecast reliability.

    Backtests Can Overstate Accuracy

Historical performance is not proof that a model will work in future markets. Overfitting occurs when an algorithm learns historical noise rather than durable relationships. Performance must also account for spreads, commissions, slippage, latency, and market impact. The CFTC warns that hypothetical trading systems may overlook bid-ask spreads, execution differences, and fees. The regulator also cautions that AI cannot predict the future or sudden market changes.

    Why This Matters

Crypto trades continuously across fragmented venues and generates vast market and blockchain data. AI can process these signals faster than human analysis, but reliable forecasting still depends on data quality, model validation, and disciplined risk controls across different market cycles and conditions.

    Final Thoughts

AI can strengthen crypto forecasting by combining market, blockchain, and sentiment information. Its value lies in identifying patterns and probabilities rather than guaranteeing future prices. Successful models still require testing, monitoring, and realistic assumptions about trading costs.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can AI accurately predict cryptocurrency prices?

AI can identify patterns and estimate probabilities using historical and real-time data. However, it cannot reliably predict exact future prices or unexpected events that rapidly change market conditions.

What data does AI use to forecast crypto prices?

Models can analyze prices, trading volume, volatility, order books, funding rates, open interest, and liquidations. They can also incorporate blockchain activity, wallet movements, news, and market sentiment.

How does machine learning help with Bitcoin price forecasting?

Machine learning models can identify relationships across large datasets that may be difficult to analyze manually. Classification models can estimate price direction, while regression models can estimate potential returns or price ranges.

How does on-chain data improve crypto forecasting?

Public blockchains provide information such as exchange flows, wallet balances, realized profits, and transaction activity. Combining these metrics with market data can provide additional context about investor and network behavior.

What are the main risks of AI crypto predictions?

Models can suffer from overfitting, poor-quality data, and sudden changes in market conditions. Real-world results can also be affected by trading fees, spreads, slippage, latency, and unexpected market events.

That dynamic remains the key macro risk traders are tracking closely. Markets now await fresh inflation data for confirmation.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in roughly USD 1.7 billion over two sessions this week. A separate session added USD 714.7 million, alongside USD 162.2 million into Ether funds. The inflows arrived even as prices swung sharply lower and back. Steady demand through a volatile stretch often signals real conviction, not speculation. Desks view sustained buying as more meaningful than any single day’s headline figure. Analysts expect flow data to stay the clearest institutional signal this week.

    Bitcoin Options Expiry Looms

A large Bitcoin options expiry worth roughly USD 16 billion falls due Friday. It ranks among the biggest expiries recorded this year for the market. Traders are already positioning cautiously ahead of the settlement. Expiries this size often pin prices near key strike levels beforehand. Market makers typically adjust hedges fast once the window narrows. Analysts expect elevated volatility across spot and derivatives markets through the week.

    Large-Cap Crypto Breadth Weakens

Nine of the top ten large-cap tokens declined during this week’s sharp sell-off. The equal-weight return across that group came in near negative 4.8%. Dogecoin, Avalanche and Cardano posted the steepest single-day losses. Weak breadth during a pullback usually points to broad de-risking, not one asset’s problem. Bitcoin closed near its session low, retaining just 11% of its full range. A reclaim of key resistance with improving breadth would ease the concern.

    Macro Risks Keep Traders Cautious

Rising Middle East tension added a fresh layer of caution across risk assets. Gold edged higher this week as investors sought defensive positioning instead. Oil prices eased slightly, offering some relief on inflation. Mixed macro signals make near-term direction harder to call with confidence. WazirX noted these conditions may keep Bitcoin range-bound near current levels. Altcoins typically react faster to shifts in broader risk appetite.

    Altcoin Leverage Builds

XRP’s open interest climbed faster than Bitcoin’s through this week’s swings. Solana also drew fresh positioning following its sharp weekly rally higher. Both tokens remain sensitive to any renewed volatility spike. Rising leverage without matching spot demand can leave prices exposed to reversals. XRP faces resistance near USD 1.52, with support sitting close to USD 1.45. Solana holds near USD 115, with USD 120 marking its stronger breakout level.

    Investor and Market Outlook

Bitcoin’s rebound toward USD 84,200 shows the broader rally did not lose its footing. Steady ETF inflows through the volatility point to real institutional conviction. Friday’s options expiry and upcoming inflation data remain the clearest near-term catalysts. Weak breadth across altcoins suggests leverage is still unwinding from this week’s swings. Investors should track Treasury yields, ETF flow data and funding rates closely. Staggered entries and modest position sizing remain the sensible approach after this move.

    FAQs

    1. What is the Bitcoin price today? Bitcoin trades at USD 84,159.42, up 3.1% over the past 24 hours. It gained 10.0% over the past week, supported by steady spot ETF inflows even as Treasury yields climbed sharply through the same stretch.

    2. Why did Bitcoin fall earlier this week? A sharp US bond sell-off pushed Treasury yields to their highest level since 2007. Stronger business activity data lifted October rate-hike expectations near 70%, pressuring both equities and crypto markets at the same time.

    3. Are Bitcoin ETFs still seeing inflows? Yes. US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted roughly USD 1.7 billion over two sessions this week. Ether funds also drew fresh capital, suggesting institutional conviction held steady despite the price swings.

    4. Which coins are performing best today? Dogecoin leads the top twelve with a 9.4% gain, followed by XRP at 7.4%. Zcash and Hyperliquid both posted gains above 4.5%, while TRON recorded the smallest advance of the group.

    5. What should investors watch this week? Track Friday’s USD 16 billion options expiry alongside Treasury yield movement and inflation data. These factors will likely decide whether Bitcoin holds current support near USD 84,000 or extends its recent pullback further.

  • Bitcoin Reclaims $87,000: Key Drivers Behind the Latest Crypto Rally

Bitcoin Reclaims $87,000: Key Drivers Behind the Latest Crypto Rally

Bitcoin has surged back above USD 87,000, reaching its highest level since late January 2026. The move marks a sharp recovery from earlier weakness, but the market structure surrounding this rally differs from Bitcoin’s previous visit to this price range. Let’s explore what has changed and what’s fueling the momentum.

    Bitcoin Hits an Eight-Month High

Bitcoin briefly traded above USD 87,000 on September 21, peaking near USD 87,405. The broader cryptocurrency market capitalization also climbed to approximately USD 2.93 trillion. The recovery follows strong momentum since August, with Bitcoin gaining about 25% that month and nearly 11% in the last seven days, according to CoinMarketCap.

On-chain conditions have shifted significantly. Glassnode identified USD 83,000–USD 86,000 as a major resistance zone, where roughly 1.07 million BTC had previously been acquired, predominantly by long-term holders. Breaking through this zone represents an important shift from earlier in September, when Bitcoin repeatedly traded below the ceiling.

ETF Inflows Surge Past USD 2 Billion

US spot Bitcoin ETFs have become a major source of renewed demand. According to SoSoValue, the funds recorded USD 998.95 million in net inflows on September 21—their largest single-day intake since October 2025. BlackRock’s IBIT led with USD 381.4 million, followed by ARKB at USD 289.1 million and Fidelity’s FBTC at USD 238.8 million.

Inflows continued on September 22 and 23, accumulating an additional USD 1.061 billion. This is particularly notable because the ETFs had generated only USD 6.2 million in net inflows during the previous week. Bitcoin also moved above the estimated USD 81,722 average cost basis for US spot Bitcoin ETF holders, putting the average holder back in profit.

Spot Buying and Institutional Demand Drive Momentum

Glassnode’s September 21 Market Pulse showed Bitcoin touching USD 86,000 after gaining more than 10% from the previous Sunday’s close. Unlike rallies driven primarily by leverage, spot taker flow shifted from net selling to net buying while trading volume increased. A wave of short liquidations also accelerated the move.

Institutional demand remains strong. Strategy added another signal by purchasing 950 BTC for USD 75.7 million. The company reported total holdings of 846,000 BTC following the acquisition. Broader altcoin strength also indicates that improving risk appetite is spreading beyond Bitcoin across the cryptocurrency market.

    Leverage Risks Remain

Derivatives activity is increasing alongside prices. Glassnode reported futures open interest above its historical high band, with funding rates rising as long positioning became more expensive. Options open interest was also elevated near USD 41 billion. This creates a potential vulnerability: higher leverage can amplify gains, but sudden reversals can trigger liquidations and accelerate downside volatility.

    Final Thoughts

Bitcoin’s return to USD 87,000 combines stronger spot buying, a streak of daily ETF inflows, and renewed institutional accumulation. Unlike earlier attempts, BTC has now pushed through the important USD 83,000–USD 86,000 supply zone. Sustaining the rally will depend on continued demand while derivatives leverage remains controlled.

    FAQs

Why has Bitcoin returned above USD 87,000?

Bitcoin’s latest rally has been supported by stronger spot buying, consecutive US spot ETF inflows, and renewed institutional accumulation. BTC also broke through the important USD 83,000–USD 86,000 on-chain resistance zone.

How much money recently flowed into US spot Bitcoin ETFs?

According to SoSoValue, the ETFs attracted USD 998.95 million on September 21. Inflows continued on September 22 and 23, adding another USD 1.061 billion.

Why is the USD 83,000–USD 86,000 Bitcoin range significant?

Glassnode identified the range as an important supply zone where approximately 1.07 million BTC had previously been acquired, predominantly by long-term holders. Breaking above it removed a notable area of potential selling pressure.

Are institutional investors contributing to Bitcoin’s rally?

Institutional demand remains an important factor. Alongside strong spot ETF flows, Strategy recently purchased another 950 BTC for USD 75.7 million, increasing its reported Bitcoin holdings to approximately 846,000 BTC.

What are the main risks to Bitcoin’s current rally?

Increasing leverage is one of the major risks. Elevated futures and options open interest can amplify upward momentum, but heavily leveraged positioning can also trigger larger liquidations and sharper declines during a market reversal.

  • Ethereum Wallet Growth: What It Really Reveals About Network Adoption and Price

Ethereum Wallet Growth: What It Really Reveals About Network Adoption and Price

Ethereum wallet growth is frequently cited as evidence that blockchain adoption is accelerating. More addresses holding ETH or interacting with the network can indicate expanding participation, but wallet statistics are easy to misinterpret. An Ethereum address does not necessarily represent one person, and one person can control hundreds or thousands of addresses. Understanding that distinction is essential when interpreting on-chain adoption.

Wallet Addresses Measure Accounts, Not People

Ethereum is pseudonymous. Blockchain data records addresses and transactions rather than verified individual identities. Consequently, counting addresses cannot produce an accurate count of Ethereum users. A trader might operate separate wallets for long-term holdings, decentralized finance, NFTs, and testing. Institutions and exchanges can control numerous addresses, while a single exchange address can represent assets belonging to thousands of customers. Automated bots can create additional addresses without representing additional human users.

    Active Addresses Provide Different Information

Analysts therefore frequently examine active addresses rather than total addresses. An active-address metric generally counts addresses that send or receive transactions during a defined period. Growth can indicate increasing blockchain activity, but it still measures participating addresses rather than unique people. Activity can also change based on market conditions. During periods of intense trading, token launches, or airdrop campaigns, existing users may create more wallets or interact more frequently. Address growth can therefore increase even without equivalent growth in the number of people using Ethereum.

Layer 2 Networks Complicate Ethereum Metrics

Ethereum’s scaling strategy creates another measurement challenge. Increasing amounts of user activity occur on Layer 2 networks rather than directly on Ethereum Mainnet. Rollups execute transactions outside Layer 1 before settling data or proofs back to Ethereum. A Mainnet-only wallet metric can miss activity occurring across Ethereum’s broader scaling ecosystem. Wallet applications themselves increasingly support multiple Layer 2 networks. Ethereum.org’s wallet directory evaluates products partly on Ethereum-native and Layer 2 support, illustrating how wallets are evolving into multi-network interfaces.

Wallet Growth Does Not Equal Investment Demand

More wallets also do not automatically mean ETH demand or price must rise. An address can hold negligible ETH, interact primarily with stablecoins, or exist only temporarily. Conversely, institutional custodians may hold substantial ETH through relatively few addresses. Useful adoption analysis therefore combines wallet statistics with transaction activity, fees, stablecoin transfers, decentralized application usage, Layer 2 activity, and capital flows. No individual metric captures the entire network.

    Final Thoughts

Ethereum wallet growth measures changes in blockchain addresses, not a verified population of investors or users. It can reveal important activity trends, particularly when combined with active-address and transaction data, but interpreting it as direct evidence of user growth or future ETH price performance can produce misleading conclusions.

    FAQs

    1. What does Ethereum wallet growth measure?
Ethereum wallet growth tracks changes in blockchain addresses holding assets or interacting with the network. It can indicate expanding activity but does not directly measure the number of individual Ethereum users.
    2. Does one Ethereum address represent one user?
No. One person can control multiple Ethereum addresses, while exchanges and custodians can use individual addresses to hold assets belonging to thousands of customers.
    3. What are active Ethereum addresses?
Active addresses generally refer to addresses that send or receive transactions during a specified period. They provide insight into network activity but still cannot identify the number of unique human users.
    4. Why do Layer 2 networks complicate Ethereum wallet statistics?
Much of Ethereum’s activity occurs on Layer 2 networks before settling back to Ethereum. Looking only at Mainnet addresses may miss activity taking place across the broader Ethereum ecosystem.
    5. Does increasing Ethereum wallet growth mean ETH prices will rise?
Not necessarily. Wallet growth does not directly measure investment demand, as addresses can hold small balances or mainly use stablecoins and applications. ETH prices are influenced by many additional market factors.

  • XRP Jumps 4% to $1.60 as Binance Reserves Hit Three-Month Peak

XRP Jumps 4% to $1.60 as Binance Reserves Hit Three-Month Peak

XRP has rallied 4.4% over the past 24 hours to trade near $1.60, outpacing Bitcoin and the broader cryptocurrency market. The move comes as trading volume jumped to $7.67 billion and Binance XRP reserves reached their highest level in three months.

    Altcoin Strength Fuels XRP Rally

While Bitcoin gained just 0.05% and the overall crypto market rose 0.56%, XRP climbed 4.40% in the same period. The token also gained 24.52% over the past seven days, breaking out of a multi-week consolidation range.

CoinMarketCap’s Altcoin Season Index rose 54.55% over the past week to 52, signaling broader strength among altcoins relative to Bitcoin. However, the index remains below the 75 threshold that officially marks an “altcoin season.”

XRP’s daily trading volume surged 8.57% to $7.67 billion, according to CoinMarketCap live data. Prices may vary slightly across exchanges as trading continues.

    Analyst Sets $10 XRP Target

Crypto commentator Ash Crypto posted on X that he is “aiming for USD 10” for XRP, calling the current market the start of the “biggest bull run in crypto history.” His post also projected targets of $250,000 for Bitcoin, $10,000 for Ethereum, and $1,000 for Solana.

No timeframe was provided for these targets. For XRP to reach $10 from $1.60, it would require a 525% increase, far above the token’s immediate resistance levels.

    Key Support and Resistance Levels

Traders are currently monitoring $1.55 as support and $1.70 as resistance. A daily close above $1.65 could bring $1.70 into play, while a drop below $1.55 would shift focus to $1.45. These levels outline possible trading scenarios rather than guaranteed outcomes.

    Binance Reserves at Three-Month High

XRP reserves on Binance have risen to approximately 2.68 billion tokens, the highest level since June. According to a CryptoQuant analysis by Arab Chain, higher reserves mean more XRP is available within the exchange’s trading system, but this alone does not indicate selling intent.

A separate CryptoQuant analysis found that average daily XRP deposits on Binance ran 663% above their quarterly baseline in recent sessions. Withdrawals also increased, leaving reserves only about 0.22% above that baseline. This suggests heavy two-way trading activity rather than a sustained buildup.

XRP’s next move will likely depend on whether buying pressure continues as the price tests nearby resistance. Holding above $1.55 keeps $1.70 in focus, while losing that support would weaken the recent advance.
