  • 5 Web3 Cryptocurrencies to Watch in India This July 2026

5 Web3 Cryptocurrencies to Watch in India This July 2026

Web3 has become one of the fastest-growing parts of the crypto market. It gives people more control over their money, data, and digital identity. Unlike traditional internet platforms, Web3 uses blockchain technology to create open and secure systems. More companies, developers, and investors now support this space since it offers real solutions instead of only digital currencies.

In July 2026, five Web3 crypto coins stand out for their strong technology, active ecosystems, and clear purpose. Each project solves a different problem and supports the future of blockchain in its own way.

    Chainlink (LINK) Strengthens Blockchain Connections

Chainlink is among the top players in the Web3 space. This network enables smart contracts to get reliable information from external sources. Throughout its journey, it has branched out from its original use of price feeds. Today, its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) makes it possible for numerous blockchains to send and receive data and digital assets from one another.

Chainlink also plays an important role in the rapidly developing Real-World Asset (RWA) sector since banks and financial institutions are adopting its technology. The solution connects conventional assets like bonds and real estate to blockchain networks. Currently, Chainlink facilitates over $95 billion of on-chain value.

Toncoin (TON) Brings Web3 to Millions of Users

Toncoin has built a strong position led by its close relationship with Telegram. This connection gives the project access to one of the world’s largest messaging platforms. Users can open crypto wallets, make payments, play blockchain games, and explore Mini Apps without leaving Telegram.

This simple experience attracts people who have little knowledge of blockchain technology. The ecosystem also supports NFTs, stablecoins, and many digital services. As Telegram adds more Web3 features, Toncoin could reach even more users across the world.

Internet Computer (ICP) Creates a Different Internet

Internet Computer follows a unique path in the blockchain industry. The project allows developers to build complete websites, applications, and online services directly on the blockchain. This approach reduces the need for traditional cloud providers in many situations.

The platform also supports artificial intelligence projects and decentralized cloud services. Developers can create applications that stay online without central servers. Although Ethereum has a larger developer community, Internet Computer continues to attract attention for its innovative technology and long-term vision.

Filecoin (FIL) Solves Data Storage Challenges

Filecoin is dedicated to secure decentralized data storage. As artificial intelligence and blockchain adoption increase, the demand for reliable storage continues to grow. Filecoin enables individuals and organizations to store data across a distributed network instead of a single location.

The platform is designed for long-term storage of information, digital archives, and protection of data. These qualities help Filecoin support companies working with AI, Web3 developers, and any other enterprises with huge amounts of information. Advanced technology and a broad ecosystem help keep Filecoin among the leading decentralized storage projects.

    Polkadot (DOT) Connects Blockchain Networks

Polkadot is designed to enable communication between diverse blockchains. The network enables them to communicate using a multi-chain technology and shared security system. Polkadot is currently developing the JAM upgrade, which will allow developers to make their development processes easier and more flexible.

    Final Thoughts

Web3 continues to reshape the crypto industry through better technology and practical use cases. Chainlink, Toncoin, Internet Computer, Filecoin, and Polkadot each solve an important challenge within the blockchain ecosystem.

Strong development, expanding adoption, and real-world applications make these five projects the top Web3 crypto coins to watch in India during July 2026. Although the crypto market remains volatile, projects with useful technology and clear purpose often stand the best chance of long-term success.

  • Enforcement Directorate Seizes ₹1,906 Crore in Assets from Gameskraft in Money Laundering Probe

Enforcement Directorate Seizes ₹1,906 Crore in Assets from Gameskraft in Money Laundering Probe

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets worth ₹1,906 crore belonging to Gameskraft as part of a money laundering investigation into the company’s real-money gaming operations. The agency claims that these platforms created an ‘addictive’ gaming environment that encourages players to spend money repeatedly.

According to an official statement, the action was taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act on July 22, in connection with the RummyCulture, RummyPrime, Playship, and RummyTime apps. With this latest attachment, total seizures and asset attachments in the case have reached approximately ₹2,401 crore.

The ED alleges that these real-money gaming platforms were part of an illegal online betting and gaming network operated through the company’s platforms. The investigation revealed that Gameskraft and RummyTime Technologies had a user base of around 3 crore players, primarily in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

The agency further claims that the platforms typically earn revenue by charging a platform commission of 10–15% from players. Additionally, the ED asserts that the firms used BOTs — automated programs and algorithms — to play against users who were unaware of the operating process.

In its statement, the ED said, “These unscrupulous practices of the companies have created an addictive gaming environment that encouraged repeated wagering, thereby enabling the companies to generate huge proceeds of crime in the form of platform commission.”

    Compliance Challenges for Gaming Startups

The Gameskraft case underscores the increased regulatory scrutiny facing the online gaming industry. As real-money gaming expands across India, companies are facing tougher checks on how they manage player funds, taxes, and legal compliance.

The ED’s action could have lasting implications for India’s real-money gaming sector. Companies may now be more cautious about adhering to financial and legal rules to avoid similar investigations.

  • Trump Slaps Fresh Tariffs on India, China, and 60 Nations Over Forced Labor Concerns

Trump Slaps Fresh Tariffs on India, China, and 60 Nations Over Forced Labor Concerns

US President Donald Trump has imposed a new round of tariffs on imports from at least 60 trading partners, including India, China, Japan, and the United Kingdom, citing inadequate enforcement of bans on goods produced through forced labor. The duties, ranging from 10% to 12.5%, take effect at 12:01 AM Friday, replacing temporary import taxes that expire the same day.

The move follows a February Supreme Court ruling that struck down Trump’s earlier ‘Liberation Day’ tariffs imposed in April 2025. The administration frames this action as part of its broader effort to curb forced labor and encourage trading partners to adopt stricter import regulations.

How the New Tariff Structure Works

Countries such as China, the United Kingdom, and Japan—which the White House says lack laws prohibiting imports made with forced labor—will face 12.5% tariffs. Meanwhile, economies including India, Sri Lanka, and the European Union will continue to face 10% tariffs after introducing or committing to forced labor import restrictions.

Some imports, including products covered under the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) and oil and gas shipments, have been exempted from the latest tariff measures.

US Defends Move as Human Rights Measure

“The United States has had a forced labor import ban for nearly a century, and rigorously enforces it. It’s well past time for our trading partners to do the same,” said US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. “Today’s action will begin to correct what is both a human rights abuse and a distortive trade practice to improve the welfare of workers everywhere.”

    India Avoids Higher Tariff

For India, the latest announcement means exports to the US will continue to attract a 10% tariff, avoiding the additional 12.5% penalty previously threatened. The White House noted that India, along with Cambodia, Guatemala, Honduras, Sri Lanka, and Trinidad and Tobago, had introduced forced labor import prohibitions or made commitments under reciprocal trade agreements, leading to the lower tariff rate.

    More Trade Measures Expected

According to a Washington Post report, the Trump administration is preparing another round of tariffs targeting countries accused of subsidizing excess manufacturing capacity. The proposed measures are expected to focus on low-cost imports that US officials argue disadvantage American manufacturers, signaling that more trade actions could be announced in the coming weeks.
